Peters Projects is the largest privately owned gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA, and represents a broad and compelling range of national and international artists. Peters Projects began its program in 2014 to offer current contemporary and thought provoking artwork. Owner Gerald Peters, who with his sister gallery Gerald Peters Gallery, known most for western, naturalism and native art, envisioned his Peters Projects as a crucial expansion of Contemporary Art that competes globally. Most recent programs include a new diverse direction of Contemporary Native and First Nation artists who challenge the viewer in current dialogue in art with Curator / Director Eileen Braziel, and a ceramics and design program with Curator / Director Mark Del Vecchio, who ran "Garth Clark Gallery" in New York from 1983-2008.
Peters Projects includes a series of public talks and shared videos online with our artists and invited keynote speakers. In addition to the main exhibit space are several, smaller adjoining galleries which feature an emphasis on the latest in global decorative arts, Indigenous art, design, installation art, digital and new media on a curated, rotating basis.
