Jill O'Bryan is a New York and New Mexico based contemporary artist working in a range of mediums including drawing, sculpture, and installation. In New Mexico, O'Bryan's studio is based quietly at the top of a mesa. There, she creates mediative works using techiques such as counting breaths, rock rubbings, and photographing intimate places near to her. O'Bryan has exhibited and is in the collections of various institutions such as Phillips Collection, Washington University, Zimmerli Art Museum, Katonah Museum of Art, University of Richmond Museums, and the Garrison Art Center
